I'll never forget the moment I checked the time in the middle of the night. Again.
Early nights, no caffeine after midday, phone away an hour before bed.
None of it mattered.
I was at a complete loss.
I'd tried everything I could think of.
Some things helped for a night or two, but nothing addressed what was actually keeping me awake.
How could I be doing everything right and still be the one lying there at 4am waiting for something that was never going to happen on its own?
